about

John Laws was a short lived hardcore/punk project that existed during 2006. The aim was to drink beer and play fast moshy hardcore punk using only bass, no guitars, taking inspiration from Aussie bands such as Fallout, Captain Cleanoff and Beanflipper. The "D.U.I Demo" was released on CD-r and handed out at gigs around Melbourne, then JL faded away into oblivion before ever sorting out a live lineup. The End.
